Year and place of birth:
1982 in Sarajevo, former Yugoslavia

Escape and stay in Germany:
After the outbreak of the war, I lived in Germany for six years as a war refugee.

Return and education:
After returning to Bosnia and Herzegovina, I first went to grammar school and then studied psychology in Sarajevo.

Additional training and further education:
In order to understand people holistically and to be able to treat them individually, I have completed various training and further education courses. These training courses enable me to look at the causes of symptoms from different perspectives and to find healing approaches on different levels of existence.

Professional activity:
I have been living in Germany again since 2013, where I work as a qualified psychologist in psychosomatic clinics. I also work as a non-medical practitioner for psychotherapy in my own practice.

  • Head of the therapeutic community "Quelle (BHS: Izvor)" for inpatient treatment of addiction among men of the humanitarian charitable organization "St. Antoniusbrot" in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

    Tasks: Establishment of the therapy community, development of the therapy concept, individual and group therapy, as well as therapeutic work with family members.

    2007 - 2009 Deputy Director of the Trauma Centre of the humanitarian and charitable organization "St. Antoniusbrot. Development of the trauma center with initial focus on training professionals on trauma and its effects on individual and societal behavior; reconciliation work and promotion of "affordable" trauma therapy.
